Important Announcements

Open Enrollment Timeline

Please find some helpful dates and information about our Open Enrollment process.

  • Open Enrollment begins Friday, January 3rd , 2025 at 8:00 am
  • Open Enrollment ends Tuesday, April 1st , 2025 at 4:00 pm
  • The Enrollment Lottery will be held Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 9:00 am in K-8 Auditorium
    • 1001 Ridge Road, Lackawanna NY 14218
  • Anyone enrolling after 4:00 pm April 1st will be added to the bottom of the waitlist established by the lottery in order of date and time of enrollment.
  • Registration begins Monday April 7th, 2025 at 8:00 am
  • Registration offers will go in order of the waitlist created by the lottery first.

Global Concepts Charter School will use an innovative approach to challenge and support our students to have a positive impact in an ever changing world.

We will accomplish this mission through a truly innovative curriculum that involves the following:

  • A standards-based curriculum.
  • A focus on character education in both our academic and fine arts components.
  • Accountability in a result-based delivery of instruction.
  • A stronger emphasis on family and community.

Our Vision

Global Concepts Charter School is a community wo supporst the diverse needs of the whole child in response to the challenging demands of a global society.

How our Vision looks:

  • Parents and community will be involved at GCCS. They will be welcomed, invited and appreciated for their part in the success of the charter school
  • Children will be recognized for their academic achievement and admirable character. They will exhibit an excitement for learning.
  • The school will be renowned for its excellent educational program.
